How to fix my microphone?
I have a condenser microphone (eagle g160). Then realized it has a stereo jack at the end so i couldn't plug it into my iMac.
I then bought a jack adaptor which lets me use the microphone with the computer however the microphone doesn't seem to work. I've tried other microphones and they work fine?
Can anyone help, i really don't want to have to dish out more money.
First off I'd check with a mac dealer or your owners manual that you can use a condenser mike with your iMac.
It's a powered, 600 ohm mike that takes an AA battery. Make sure you have a fresh battery and if there is an on/off switch...
If that doesn't work, you may need an impedance adapter, but check that last and good luck.
